Yesterday, by the time the workers left, the Dome was looking very festive with lots of colored wires hanging down in festoons around the perimeter. Then this morning during coffee break we went to look at it - and it's all lit up! It has the look of a flying saucer about to lift off.
Meanwhile, up on the fifth floor, the carpetlaying continues. And the central staircase is completely white as the painters prepare to install the new wallcovering.
At the end of the day yesterday the Dome looked very festive
