I went to investigate the loud droning noise that we've been hearing periodically today. I thought it was maybe the floorscraper up on the 5th floor. But no, it's actually a really big drill that is being used to drill holes through the 5th floor floor to the 4th floor ceiling, for electrical wiring purposes. In fact, the floorscraper broke down and they're back to ripping up narrow little strips of carpeting by hand. The good news is that they're more than halfway done with ripping up the carpeting.
Down on the 4th floor, the workers continue to frame. All the curves in the walls and desk are quite lovely.
nb: Blurblogger will be at a conference from tomorrow through Saturday. Any blogs will be the product of speculation and imagination.
Some of the framing is now being done with wood.
