floorscraper

Upon entering the Barco law building this morning, I heard a loud, low droning noise, which I initially thought was a really big drill. But no, actually it is the machine being used to facilitate removal of the 5th floor carpet, called (appropriately enough) a "floorscraper". It takes two to use it, one pushing the floorscraper, the other walking in front rolling up the scraped-off carpet.
Down on 4, they're framing the curved wall that is going to face you when you get off the elevators - it looks very cool.
